Europe 2018 Album
The school I teach at has been on break this week, so I finally had time to tackle the photos from last year’s Europe trip. Documenting these trips is such a huge project that I tend to drag my feet about starting. Particularly since editing and printing photos is my least favorite part of this whole scrapbooking thing. It took me hours to get through all the photos for this album.
When I’m putting together a travel album, I like the entire thing to have a cohesive look, so I spent quite a while selecting the products I’d be using. In the end, I pulled the color scheme from a collection by Push Print Studios. I printed a bunch of cards from the Moody Days collection, and tried to stick with those colors. I also used cards from Kelly Purkey Shop, plain cardstock, and some botanical images from some gift bags that I cut up to include in the album.
Putting the album together took forever because it’s pretty heavy on the stamping, but I’m really happy with the way it turned out, so I guess it was worth the time. Most of the stamps I used are from Kelly Purkey Shop. In particular, I used the stamp set that comes with the Details mini kit designed by Life Love Paper, which will be coming to the shop on 2/28. I’m all about the details, and since the creative team is currently working on the February release, I decided to use “details” as my album theme. I think every page has some images from that stamp set.
