Kelly Purkey Shop Travel Goodies
The June releases at Kelly Purkey Shop really had me swooning (and wanting to travel)! I ended up making a bunch of projects, and I wanted to share the pages I did in my traveler's notebook here today.
For this first layout, I used the Travel Details traveler's notebook kit, the Road Trip stamp set, and the At the Coast stamp set to create an itinerary for my upcoming trip to Portland, ME. Since this trip is an annual tradition, I was able to use a photo from a previous trip.
I used stamping and alpha stickers to create the title, and accented with label stickers. I love the colors this month!
Our trip to Portland is 100% about food and fancy cocktails, so I included a list of all our favorite places to go. I think we managed to hit all but one of them this time around (but we added a couple new favorites, so it all evens out)!
On the next layout, I wanted to use a picture I took of some beautiful veggies I got at the farmers' market in my town. I used the Travel Details traveler's notebook kit, the Best Coast stamp and Roam sets designed by Life Love Paper, and alpha and label stickers.
I love using mailing tags in my traveler's notebook. I cut a mailing tag in two, and stamped an arrow pattern on the top and the word "local" on the bottom, then stitched both to my layout.
I included a cute business card from a local farm, and some simple journaling.
I love that this traveler's notebook paper has a spot on top to record the date and documenter. I just filled those spots in to complete the layout.
The last layout I'm sharing today was inspired by the Roam stamp set. I love the phrase "widen your boundary", so I used it as a journaling prompt. I stamped my title and built an image from a few of the stamps in the set.
I chose photos that represent exploration - a few travel pictures, and one of my feet on a neighborhood walk.
I finished the layout with a little patterned paper and some label stickers stamped with words and phrases.
The journaling is pretty simple. Just some thoughts inspired by the idea of widening my boundaries.
I had so much fun working with this release! The links above will take you to the shop, where you can snag some of these beautiful kits and stamp sets for yourself.
